How much is a CT scan for a dog, all the better if you had it done in Ontario, Canada.? - how much to scan dog
The other night my little chihuahua lost control of his hind legs. When we arrived at the Emergency Vet - which seemed a bit far away, but otherwise, his legs were very good. We have seen our regular vet and x-rays to point - the fact, "a reduction in the space between the vertebrae - can be a hard pressure on the compressed spinal cord.
The only way to know for sure is a CT scan. I am near a hospital in new technologies, Toronto and Guelph.
She advised me to wait for a few days to see whether anti-inflammatories and painkillers to help - but I would certainly know what the cause. Sun - CT I want - but I am concerned about the cost (no price is too high, if necessary - but a huge cost, encouraged me to wait and see what the vet recommended).
Anyone who has ever scanned the dog CT at each site? What were the costs? Is sedation, etc.?

Well, you can contact and request a quote.
The chances are good that you'll pay somewhere around $ 1000 maybe a little less. Who needs to sedation, examination, hospital belong, while recovering from sedation, all of the monitoring during anesthesia and medication for pain in the hospital. It should also apply to the veterinarian infusions may or may not want to, depending on the age and health at the time of exploration.
If the drugs are working, then you should see an improvement in the chest by 48 hours after initiation of treatment.
Otherwise, it is likely that a candidate for surgery. Spinal cord injuries are difficult and can be difficult to correct.
Good luck with it.
